Rob Baldwin
Rob grew up in Virginia, went to college in Tennessee where he met Steve, and moved to Lake Tahoe after college. He’s been a trout bum ever since.
Rob started his fly fishing career in Lake Tahoe at Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitters. He started by working in the shop before becoming the shop manager and guide. Absorbing the responsibilities of the manager position, Rob took over the role of the Tahoe Area Guide School Director. Rob made a career move alongside Steve, to Montana where he also guides full time on the Missouri River for Headhunters Fly Shop. Spending spring to fall on the drift boat in Montana and winters on ladders at Pyramid Lake, it is an understatement to say that Rob likes catching trout.
Rob has been guiding on both rivers and lakes for over 8 years. He began guiding at Pyramid Lake with Pyramid Lake Fly Fishing and has been beating the alarm clock, setting up ladders, rigging rods, and serving up some of the best food the beach has ever encountered since stepping foot at the Lake.
In Rob’s free time, you can find him fishing with his friends, making southern inspired food on the Traeger, or spending time with his bulldog pup, Bertha.
