  • The weather at the Lake can vary, so we recommend that you dress in layers. The amount of layers depends on time of year. The fishing season at Pyramid Lake occurs between the months of October to June; a majority of these months are best experienced when preparing for colder temperatures and potential storm systems. Waterproof jackets, waders, fishing boots or waterproof boots, and a warm layer or two underneath are recommended during these times.

Fishing gloves can make for a lot more comfort in the colder months as well. Your Guides will provide nitrile gloves upon request for a layer of protection from the water if needed; they are thin enough that you will still be able to manage your fly line.

  • Pyramid Lake offers two markets:

Pyramid Lake Lodge has a kitchen that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, provides basic necessities, snacks, water, limited alcohol (wine, beer, and spirits), and tobacco products.

Pyramid Lake Marina offers basic necessities, snacks, water, limited alcohol (wine, beer, and spirits), and tobacco products.

  • Opening day is October 1st; closing day is June 30th.

  • Deposits for cancelled Guide Trips will be refunded in full with a 30-day or more notice. Cancellations within 30-days will forfeit all deposit monies. If we are able to re-book the Guide, we will refund the deposit or apply it to a Trip at a later date. If a Trip is cancelled with less than 72-hours notice, the full price of the Guided Trip will be charged. Our Guided Trips occur in all safe weather and water conditions, therefore inclement weather, water levels or undesirable fishing conditions are NOT acceptable reasons to cancel or receive a refund. Trips cancelled by the Guide or mutual Guide/client decision due to unsafe weather or water conditions, state or federal closures, or other uncontrollable circumstances will have the entire deposit refunded.
